In Coimbra Montemor-o-Velho, 20 May > 31 December 2011

Contrary to those who, sitting in front of the TV, drink all that information that is bombarded with useless – and, in a futile attempt to defend them selvs, jump from channel to channel, from futility to futility,- the user of the Internet, jump from page to page, building an image of the world. One thought the world. For this, the world seems suddenly reduced to a few thousand pages that was stacked in his memory.

Unlike television, which is a passive spectator of the action, the user of the Internet, acts at will, jumping from page to page looking for something. Even if he doesn’t find anything, he built a mental journey, a journey through the virtual world. This trip, that has been sheded in the corners of your memory, loosing images, sounds, words, short phrases, like small cards forgotten in a drawer are waiting to be re-discovered.

These are the forgotten memories of those virtual trips that FONLAD Festival seeks to recover from the memory of artists, challenging them to produce art projects based on these experiences.

The public would be concentrated in a particular space, guided by the areas of the instalations, culminating in the main square.

Apart from the above event will be projected videos of other festivals in the Wind Rose Art Space Center, in line with the schedule started in 2010.
